Ecuador has it all. Well, most of it. Andean mountains, volcanic crater lakes, a capital (Quito) in the mountains, a bustling city (Guayaquil) at the water. Cloud forests, beaches, you name it. And I didn’t even include the Galapagos.
Apart from those islands, Ecuador is very compact. Which makes it easy to travel, and cheap at that. So if you are strapped for time, Ecuador is highly recommendable, but often forgotten. Make up your own mind after seeing these pictures!
