Street art in Medellin

Medellin will blow you away. Vibrant, warm, in a stunning location. And it has a massive street culture, stemming from the poorer barrios draped on the flanks of the mountains.
There is literally street art everywhere. In swanky districts like Poblado, in the rundown Centro Historico, or in barrios like Comuna 13, the former hellhole turned tourist paradise. Lots of it has a political meaning as well, depicting the decades of violence that have battered Colombia.
